Once this street was full of squats and hausprojekts as almost all the area in Friedrichshain. If you come in our kiez now, it's a bit difficult to get the idea, cause gentrification and the new (also natural) movement of people have brought a different reality.
But today is a street fest and the people are in the street and you can still get the feeling of it.
